Porting implies access to original code, so you're effectively looking for someone who would code Brothel City pretty much from scratch, which will be very time consuming and very tedious if you want the end result to be as close as possible to the original. Unless you have every Brothel City design meticulously documented, and original programmer stuck to it to the letter, end result may be way off from the original without a lot of extra time.

Steam doesn't require dedicated version of the game and what you have already could be released there without a problem, but... last I checked and IIRC, Brothel City was not only unfinished, but also pretty buggy at later stages of the game... don't remember the details now, but I think some of them were pretty serious and/or game-breaking. You'd have to be very careful what and how you do if you'd release current version on Steam, especially considering you want to code it from scratch.

Also, don't think releasing the game on Steam will magically solve all your problems... yes, it has a massive reach and potential gains, but competition is also massive, and you won't be competing with only other NSFW games, so it won't be easy to get noticed.

And last but not least, to afford potential programmer you'd probably need to convince people to crowdfund a reboot of a game which wasn't finished in the first place, which I think will be very hard.

I sympathize with your situation, liked Brothel City despite its shortcomings, and I wish you all the best, but I think someone should give you a reality check.

Just my 2 cents.

You need to time a dodge (left/right keys) shortly after the warning notification appears... roughly 2 seconds. It's tricky at first, but relatively easy to get the hang of it.

gallery:

  1. in bedroom, grab calendar and look at it in inventory
  2. in airlock room, grab mail, open it, and look at magazine in inventory
  3. same magazine as above, but this time open it in inventory
  4. in cockpit, open sun visor, grab photo, and look at it in inventory
  5. in cockpit, open glove compartment, grab photo, and look at it in inventory
  6. in cockpit, use monitor few times
  7. outside of the ship, look at the pin-up

scene:

  1. after recharging batteries, use them on toy, and seduce toy in the bedroom

Fun little game, but info about how many gallery entries and secret scenes would be nice. Been pretty thorough, and only found 7 (out of 9?) gallery entries and one "secret" scene, and have no idea if that's all, or did I miss something.

Don't have too much time to play today, but at least intro plays out without any issues, so looks like it's fixed. Thank you.

Good thing I tried the demo first...
Starting new game results in immediate soft lock with forest in the background. Log is filled with exceptions like this:

ev:wait_move_end(player)
FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.
  at System.Number.ThrowOverflowOrFormatException (System.Boolean overflow, System.String overflowResourceKey) [0x0001a] in <605bf8b31fcb444b85176da963870aa7>:0

I assume it's related to my system locale using "," as decimal point and how event data is stored by the game, since apparently I can access the gallery and move player character in it. Most likely it should be relatively easy to solve by the dev by using "CultureInfo.InvariantCulture" when parsing float strings.

Hope it gets fixed.

First time playing ZR2 - looks good so far, but found few minor-ish issues:

- Nadia's "Sex Ed" quest ending is a bit weird/glitchy - after the sex scene MC is alone in Crimson Apartments - to finish the quest and get the Lust Power increase MC needs to visit Nadia's Grid motel room, even if she's outside - until that's done:
  - all crafting stations and Fiona's construction are disabled
  - returning to the 2F of police station shows L-001 sprite in the room he's first encountered
  - entering Sewers with Lucy during "Down and Dirty" quest shows extra sprites of MC and Lucy near the console

- "Thorn in Her Side" quest supposedly changes the day, but it only switches time of day to Morning

- some loot events in police station are set up in a way that makes them inaccessible - cabinet in 2F middle room with main quest item, and top-left locker in F1 (bottom-left) locker room - another locker in the locker room has the same issue, but it's in bottom row, so it can be accessed from above - Gold Leaf Milkshake makes the issue apparent

- ordering Fruit Salad dessert will always trigger "you already had one today" warning

- visiting Bayou District after the quest at Morning (not raining? with Lucy in party?) may make it dark as if it's Night - did the quest at Evening or Night, so not sure how it looks during the quest - hmmm, happened only once and now seems fine every time

Thank you!

Any chance for full version release on itch?

Any chance for full version release on itch?

Works like a charm now, thanks.

Sent, along with save file and some additional info.

Option to buy this and your other games from itch.io using credit card would be nice.

Small issue: slider in solved new Strppr games for Grace and Rachel fade the whole image to black instead of fading out just the clothes - paradise_lust_win64_1.1.1a.zip version in case it matters.

Will it be possible to buy full version on itch using credit card? Using PayPal for NSFW games purchases is unsafe for neither the buyer nor the seller.

Your games look like fun and I would very much like to buy them, but I don't use PayPal due to how risky it is to use it to buy NSFW games and stuff.
Would you please consider either allowing paying for your games on itch.io using credit cards or releasing English versions on dlsite, where you release Japanese versions?

And few more issues I've noticed, but there's probably more:

- description for green and dark blue fishes are reversed in "Fishipedia"
- "A mighty dildo" shows correctly in inventory when bought, but shows icon of "A vibrant rose" when fishing - at least works as a "A mighty dildo" for baiting girls requiring it
- some girls don't show in "Fish report" - at least Mermaid and Shark from Calm Ocean and Anemone from Rocky Ocean
- golden tadpoles are counted as regular tadpoles in "Fish report"

Minor bug report: button scrolling shop list down often stops at "Gift" entry, which requires dragging the list to reveal "Boat" and "Misc" entries.
Other than that, fun little game ;)

Hey, sorry for off-topic, but would you consider bringing back 'Protect Harem City' back to itch.io? Tried the demo some time ago and finally wanted to buy it, just to find it's no longer listed :(
Also, releasing other older games here would be nice as well.
